Skate through Tokyo-to's streets, tagging walls with graffiti before cops show up—same wild energy as the Dreamcast version, just in tight 2D. Link up for multiplayer chaos.

Jet Grind Radio on Game Boy Advance, released in 2003 by THQ, brought the series' rebellious style to a handheld format. It arrived during a period when developers were ambitiously porting 3D console experiences to the 2D screen, attempting to capture the essence of more complex games. This version tried to translate the freewheeling, cel-shaded world into a side-scrolling adventure, a significant shift from its origins.
You control a member of the GG's, a graffiti-tagging skate gang, navigating urban environments on inline skates. The main objective is to spray your crew's tags on designated spots across each stage while evading a growing police presence. Signature mechanics include grinding on rails and wires to maintain speed, and using a limited spray can supply to complete large murals. The pacing is frantic, with officers and rival skaters constantly trying to knock you down, and the isometric perspective can make precise platforming a challenge. It feels like a hectic race against time, where a single mistake can unravel a perfect run.
