Jurajski Sen is one of those weird, charming Amiga platformers where you play as a guy who falls asleep after watching a movie called "Jurassic Dream" (yes, with a typo) and ends up in a prehistoric nightmare. You’re armed with just a club at first, smacking cavemen and dodging bouncing heads—which sounds ridiculous until you realize how tense it gets when three of them come at you at once.

The levels throw everything at you: fire pits, falling rocks, spikes, and dinosaurs that move in unpredictable patterns. There’s this one dino that just rolls toward you like a boulder, and I still panic every time. Power-ups help—extra lives, temporary invincibility—but they’re just rare enough that you’ll hoard them for the brutal later levels. The talisman you’re hunting feels miles away by the time you hit the third stage.

It’s janky in that very Amiga way, but there’s something oddly satisfying about the rhythm of clubbing enemies and making pixel-perfect jumps over pits. Just don’t expect the dream to end happily if you’re bad at platformers.
