1994 Amiga action game. Control Kid Chaos through 20 levels across 5 worlds. Smash enemies and objects with a club to progress. Features power-ups, secret passages, boss fights every 4 levels, and a password system.
Kid Chaos is this weirdly charming Amiga game where you play as a caveman who gets yanked into the future by mad scientists. Now he’s stuck smashing his way through bizarre artificial worlds—like a creepy toy factory or a toxic wasteland—just to find a time machine home. The whole thing feels like someone mixed a platformer with a demolition derby.
You’ll spend most of your time sprinting through levels, whacking everything in sight with a club. The exit won’t open until you’ve destroyed all the marked targets, which sounds simple until you realize some are hidden behind walls you can only break by building up speed and doing this weird "whiz" move. Jump high enough, and you might stumble onto secret platforms with power-ups—extra lives, health, or even bonus time if the clock’s running low.
Health management is a thing, too. You can either wait forever for it to refill slowly or grab apples (which get scarcer as you go). And those lives? They disappear fast. Early on, you can take a few hits, but later levels punish even one mistake. Some sections force you to speedrun, others throw Space Invaders-style minigames at you, and all of them track your destruction stats like some kind of prehistoric war criminal report card.
It’s got that classic ’90s difficulty curve—starts friendly, then suddenly you’re sweating over pixel-perfect jumps. The password system helps, but good luck remembering those strings of gibberish. Honestly, half the fun is figuring out how to break the game before it breaks you.
