Play Kikstart II Online
1986 Amiga motocross racing game. Race against the clock on obstacle-filled tracks. Features physics-based bike control, split-screen two-player mode, and timed jumps.

Kikstart II came out on the Amiga in 1986, developed by Mastertronic. It was one of those early titles that really showed off what the system could do with its smooth scrolling and detailed graphics, a step up from many other games at the time. It felt like a proper evolution for motocross games on home computers.
You control a motocross rider on a bike, racing against the clock through a series of obstacle-filled side-scrolling tracks. The main goal is simply to finish each course as fast as possible without crashing. The signature mechanics are the precise physics-based bike control, where you lean forward or back to keep balance on jumps and hills, and the timed jumps needed to clear gaps and land smoothly. The pacing is relentless, and the difficulty ramps up quickly with tighter obstacles and more complex track layouts. It feels incredibly satisfying when you finally nail a perfect run after dozens of attempts.
