Play Kikugi Online
Puzzle strategy game with 15 boards. Jump pegs to remove them, leaving one in the center. Supports solitaire, two-player, and AI modes. Includes move previews, undo, and save/load. Released in 1988 for Amiga.
Kikugi came out in 1988 for the Amiga, a puzzle game from Image Tech that fit right in with the kind of thoughtful, screen based challenges that were popular on the platform at the time. It didn't try to dazzle with flashy graphics or a complex story; it was just a clean, focused experience built around a single compelling idea.
You control a cursor to move pegs across a board, jumping one over another to remove them, with the goal of leaving just one peg standing in the center. The game gives you tools like move previews and an undo function, which are essential because every move matters and mistakes are costly. It moves at a deliberate, almost meditative pace, demanding careful planning rather than quick reflexes. Playing Kikugi feels like slowly untangling a knot, each successful jump bringing a quiet sense of order and relief.
