You play as Kim, of course, with Ron and Rufus along for the ride, trying to stop Dr. Drakken's latest world-threatening scheme.
You control Kim through a series of levels, jumping across platforms, using her grappling hook to swing over gaps, and fighting waves of henchmen and robots. The main goal is to progress screen by screen, often finding key cards or disabling security systems to open new paths. You collect various gadgets, like the grappling hook for traversal and communicator pieces to unlock bonus content.
