Man, if you grew up smashing buttons on NES brawlers, this Kunio-kun collection hits like a nostalgia uppercut. It's got those classic River City games where you're just some delinquent beating the snot out of other delinquents—except everyone flies across the screen like they got hit by a truck when you land a good punch. The physics are ridiculous in the best way.
You get a few games in one here, including the one where you can pick up bikes and trash cans to whack people with (always my move). The dialogue's all in Japanese, but honestly, the over-the-top "YEEARGH!" sound effects and the way enemies go spinning offscreen tell you everything you need to know. Grab a friend for multiplayer—nothing beats teaming up to kick some pixelated butt, then immediately turning on each other because someone stole the last health item.
It's janky, it's chaotic, and it absolutely holds up if you're into that old-school charm. Just don't expect modern polish—these games play exactly like you remember, for better or worse.
