Kururin Paradise came out for the Game Boy Advance in 2002, developed by 8ing and Racjin. It was one of those quirky puzzle games that felt right at home on the GBA, a system that had plenty of room for experiments outside the usual platformers and RPGs. You don't see many games built entirely around a wobbly helicopter stick, but this one made it the whole point.

You control a spinning helicopter-like stick called the Kururin, guiding it through tight, maze-like stages without letting the ends touch the walls. The goal is simple: navigate each screen-based level from start to finish, collecting items like flowers and hidden keys along the way. The challenge comes from the stick's constant rotation; you're always adjusting, tapping directions to thread through narrow gaps or avoid moving hazards. Some stages introduce switches, moving platforms, or boss encounters that break up the flow with mini-game style challenges. The pacing is methodical, almost meditative at times, but the difficulty can spike without much warning. It feels like solving a physical puzzle with your hands, tense and satisfying when you finally slip through a tricky section.
