Kuusou Kagaku Sekai Gulliver Boy: Kuusou Kagaku Puzzle Purittopon!! came out in 1996 for the Game Boy, developed by I'Max and published by Bandai. It was part of that wave of late-era Game Boy titles that tried to do something a little different, often based on anime properties that didn't always make it outside Japan. You control a cursor on a grid-based board, sliding rows and columns of tiles to match three or more of the same symbol. The main objective is to clear the board before a timer runs out or a certain condition is met. The game throws some interesting twists at you; sometimes entire sections of the board will flip or rotate, and certain tiles can become locked in place, forcing you to work around them. The pacing is fairly brisk, and the difficulty ramps up in a way that feels challenging but not unfair.
