Game Overview
Leavin' Teramis is one of those classic Amiga games where you play as the guy who messed up—Nigel MacGibbons, the ship's resident drunk who slept through the alien invasion and got left behind. Now he's gotta blast his way through 10 levels of hostile corridors to reach the last escape pod, which is easier said than done when everything on the ship wants him dead.
It's an overhead shooter, but instead of piloting a ship, you're just a dude with a gun, weaving through rooms while aliens and their bullets come at you from all directions. The controls are tight, and the levels scroll smoothly—no getting stuck on corners or weird hitboxes. Grab power-ups when you see them (extra lives, weapon upgrades, or even a little more time before the ship explodes), because you'll need every advantage when facing the big, screen-filling bosses at the end of each level.
It's got that perfect '80s arcade vibe—simple to pick up, tough to master, and just chaotic enough to keep you hitting retry. Nigel might be a disaster, but his escape is a blast.
