Along the way, you might run into river monsters that you fend off with a slingshot, or trade with other characters for better equipment. The pacing is slow and deliberate; it's not about rushing. You spend a lot of time waiting for a bite, managing your inventory, and even raising fish you've caught in a home aquarium. It feels patient and oddly absorbing, like the game respects your willingness to just sit with it for a while.
