LEGO Island 2 on GBA is this weird little mix of racing, exploring, and doing odd jobs for the island's goofy residents. At first it feels like a bunch of mini-games stitched together, but there's something oddly charming about delivering pizzas or fixing bridges while everything looks like it's made of actual LEGO bricks.
The controls are a bit stiff, especially when you're racing the jet ski or trying to land precise jumps, but the missions are short enough that it doesn't get too frustrating. I remember one where you have to chase down a thief on a skateboard, and the physics made it feel like you were sliding on ice the whole time.
It's not deep, but LEGO Island 2 has that early 2000s LEGO game vibe where just messing around with the world is half the fun. The GBA version is definitely stripped down compared to the console ones, though.
