Play Lunar Legend (U)(Mode7) Online
You start as Alex, swinging your sword in turn-based fights while chasing the Dragonmaster dream—still got that JRPG soul even without the fancy PS1 cutscenes.

Game Overview
Lunar Legend on GBA is basically a condensed version of the PS1 classic Lunar: Silver Star Story, but don’t let "condensed" fool you—it’s still packed with that classic JRPG charm. You play as Alex, this kid who dreams of becoming a Dragonmaster (basically the coolest warrior around), and the story unfolds with all the drama, humor, and weirdly catchy music you’d expect.
The GBA version trims some of the PS1’s fluff—no more animated cutscenes, sadly—but it keeps the heart of the adventure intact. Battles are turn-based but snappy, and the sprite work still looks great even on the tiny screen. If you’ve played the original, you’ll notice little tweaks here and there, but it’s still the same journey about friendship, destiny, and punching monsters with a sword.
Honestly, it’s one of those RPGs that just feels cozy to revisit, even if the translation gets a little cheesy at times.
