The signature mechanics are this deliberate, screen-by-screen puzzle solving and the constant threat of a penguin wandering off a ledge if you mismanage their path. The pacing is slow and thoughtful, demanding patience more than quick reflexes. It feels like herding stubborn, waddling children through a frozen obstacle course where one wrong move means starting over.
