Play Mary-Kate and Ashley : Girls Night Out Online
Help the Olsen twins pick painfully 2000s outfits, then survive cringey dance battles at the club—DJ mode’s actually weirdly fun once you embrace the glitter.

Mary-Kate and Ashley: Girls Night Out came out on the Game Boy Advance in 2002, published by Club Acclaim. It was one of those licensed games that felt very much of its time, aimed squarely at a younger audience who were fans of the Olsen twins' direct-to-video movies and general early 2000s pop culture. It didn't try to be a technical showcase for the hardware; it was just a simple, colorful game you'd pick up for a bit of light fun.
You control either Mary-Kate or Ashley, guiding them through a series of themed locations to prepare for a big party. The main objective is to collect all the items for your night out, which involves a lot of screen-by-screen exploration and talking to NPCs for clues. Two signature mechanics are the fashion matching mini-games, where you assemble outfits from a limited selection of clothes and accessories, and the dance sequences, which use timed button presses to mimic choreography. The pacing is slow and the difficulty is very low, making it accessible but not particularly engaging for long. It feels like a digital scavenger hunt with a thin layer of early 2000s fashion and party themes layered on top.
