Game Overview

You play as Frankenstein’s monster in this weird, kinda janky Genesis game based on the '94 movie. Victor ditches you right after bringing you to life (rude), so you grab a wooden stick and start swinging at anything that moves—villagers, dogs, even bats for some reason. Swinging your stick near torches sets it on fire, which is cool until you realize it doesn’t last long.

There’s this weird blue energy ball attack too, but it drains your health, so you’ll only use it when you’re desperate. The levels are a mix of clunky combat and simple puzzles—like pushing blocks or finding keys—but the real challenge is the controls. Jumping feels stiff, and enemies love to gang up on you. Still, there’s something oddly charming about smashing your way through gothic villages as the misunderstood monster.

Just don’t expect it to hold up like the Genesis greats—it’s more of a curiosity than a hidden gem.
