Play McDonald's Treasure Land Adventure Online
Ronald McDonald swings through surreal levels with his scarf like a burger-flipping Spider-Man, bouncing off mushrooms and grappling past soda cup enemies—somehow it just works. The weirdly satisfying movement and Treasure’s signature polish make this licensed oddball actually hold up.

McDonald's Treasure Land Adventure is one of those weirdly good licensed games from the Sega Genesis era. You play as Ronald McDonald—yes, really—swinging around with his scarf like some kind of fast-food Spider-Man. The first level drops you in a forest full of bouncing mushrooms and enemies that look like walking soda cups, which honestly sets the tone for the whole thing.
It’s got that classic Treasure (the developers) feel—tight controls, bright colors, and just the right amount of jank. Ronald can shoot little projectiles, but the scarf grapple is the real star. Swinging between hooks feels surprisingly satisfying once you get the timing down. Between levels, you can spend the gems you’ve collected on power-ups or even gamble them in a mini Columns clone, which is a bizarre but fun touch.
It’s short, silly, and way better than a McDonald’s game has any right to be. The moon level alone—with its low-gravity jumps and UFOs—makes it worth a play.
