Play Medabots AX : Metabee Version Online
You customize Metabee’s parts between fights, then nail timed button combos in fast-paced robot brawls—half the fun is hearing his smart mouth between rounds.

Medabots AX: Metabee Version came out on the Game Boy Advance in 2003, developed by Natsume and published by Natsume in North America. It was part of that wave of anime-licensed games that tried to capture the feel of the show, fitting right in with other portable action titles of the time.
You control a kid named Ikki and his customizable Medabot, Metabee, as you fight through a series of tournaments. The core of the game is split between customizing your robot's parts for stats and abilities, and then jumping into one-on-one battles where timing your attacks and special moves is everything. The fights are fast and require you to learn enemy patterns, with a combo system that rewards precision. It can get pretty tough if you don't manage your parts well, but pulling off a perfect volley of shots and hearing Metabee talk trash after a win makes it satisfying.
