Play Medarot Navi : Kabuto Online
You find robot parts in a busted space station, then throw squads of Medabots at rogue machines—half the fun is scavenging their wreckage for upgrades while your classmates wander off like they’ve got better things to do.

Medarot Navi: Kabuto came out for the Game Boy Advance in 2001, published by Natsume. It was part of that early GBA wave where developers were still figuring out how to translate deeper mechanics onto a handheld, and this one definitely had more going on under the hood than a lot of its colorful peers. You don't see many games built so squarely around collecting and swapping components anymore.
You control a kid who commands a team of customizable robots, or Medabots, sent to investigate a derelict space station. The main goal is to explore the station screen by screen, fighting rogue machines in turn-based battles that use a unique action command system for executing attacks. A huge part of the game is scavenging parts from defeated enemies to upgrade your own Medabots, constantly tweaking their loadouts for different situations. The pacing is deliberate, almost methodical, as you backtrack through environments to find new parts or access previously locked areas. It feels like piecing together a puzzle where every new component opens up another small possibility.
