Game Overview
Megalit is one of those weird little Game Boy puzzle games that sticks with you. You play as this squishy blob guy trapped by a witch—she’s also kidnapped a bunch of women using magic crystals, because of course she has. Your only way out? Solve these block-stacking puzzles where you’ve got to get every piece to touch the ground.
At first it seems simple—just push and pull blocks around—but then you realize your blob can’t handle big drops. Let a block fall too far and it shatters, forcing you to restart. The physics get surprisingly tricky, especially when you’re balancing oddly shaped blocks on top of each other.
There’s an easy mode with unlimited retries if you just want to chill, but quest mode cranks up the pressure with timers and way more complex setups. Some of those later levels had me staring at the screen for way too long trying to figure out the right move. It’s the kind of game where you’ll fail a bunch, but that one satisfying solution makes it worth it.
