Your main goal is simple: shoot everything, rescue POWs for bonuses, and survive to the end. The core mechanics are the same as earlier games: screen by screen progression, collecting a variety of exaggerated weapons, and hopping into different vehicles like the Slug tank or camels. A new combo meter rewards rapid kills with higher scores. The pacing is relentless, and the difficulty can be punishing, especially with the aggressive enemy placements and screen-filling bosses. It feels like a chaotic, slightly unpolished but still satisfying extension of the classic Metal Slug chaos.
