Game Overview
Microbes on the Amiga is one of those weird little games that sticks with you. You control this tiny organism—basically a blob—and your goal is to survive by eating smaller microbes while avoiding the bigger ones. The controls are simple, but the way the creatures move and react makes it surprisingly tense.
At first, I just sort of drifted around, not really sure what I was doing. Then I realized the smaller dots were food, and the bigger blobs would chase me if I got too close. The screen gets crowded fast, and suddenly you're dodging three predators while trying to grow. It's simple, but it gets frantic in the best way.
If you like old-school arcade-style survival games, this one's worth a few rounds.
