You start with a couple of sad-eyed strays in a tiny shelter, and suddenly you're rationing kibble like some kind of pet-food economist while trying not to get too attached to that three-legged cat.

The Dutch text doesn’t really matter—you’ll figure out that the angry chihuahua icon means "bites volunteers" soon enough. It’s got that early 2000s sim charm where everything’s just slightly janky, but in a way that makes you weirdly invested. One minute you’re scrubbing virtual pee stains, the next you’re emotionally debating whether to adopt out the diabetic terrier to the nice old lady or keep him forever.

It’s like if someone mashed up a Tamagotchi with a spreadsheet, but somehow it works.
