Moonstone on the Amiga is one of those games that starts simple and then pulls you into its weird little world. You play as a knight sent by druids to track down this legendary moonstone—except you’re not alone. Even if you go solo, three AI-controlled rivals are out there doing the same thing, and they’re just as likely to stab you in the back as any human player would be.

The map’s full of strange little stops—towns where you can gamble your gold away or buy better gear, but mostly you’ll be stumbling into cabins where monsters lurk. The cool part? If you die mid-fight, the next time someone (you or another player) swings by, the remaining beasts are still there. Less work for them, I guess.

And yeah, you can totally run into other players, duel them, and walk off with their stuff. But the real twist comes after you actually find the moonstone—turns out that’s when things get properly weird.
