Moonwalker Disk1 came out in 1989 for the Amiga, published by U.S. Gold. You control Michael Jackson through a series of side scrolling levels, each with a distinct goal. The main objective is to rescue children kidnapped by Mr. Big's henchmen. You move screen by screen, avoiding or confronting enemies, and sometimes you transform into a vehicle like a car or spaceship to navigate certain sections. The pacing is brisk, though the difficulty can spike unexpectedly, especially during boss fights. It feels a little janky in places, but there's a strange charm in pulling off a smooth moonwalk to dodge an attack.
