Moonwalker on the Amiga is this weird, kinda janky but totally charming game where you play as Michael Jackson dodging obsessive fans. First level’s all about sneaking around grabbing pieces of a rabbit costume—because apparently that’s the perfect disguise—before hopping on a bike to escape to the next area.
Michaelsville (yes, really) throws these glowing orbs at you that turn your ride into a sparkly super-car that can jump over obstacles. Mess up, and suddenly you’re on a jetski for no particular reason. Then it shifts to a club shootout against goons, and finally, you’re in full Moonwalker mode, dodging lasers and stormtroopers to rescue kids. It makes zero sense, but the soundtrack slaps, and the pixelated moonwalk is weirdly satisfying.
Definitely a product of its time, but if you’re into retro oddities, it’s a trip.
