So this is a weird one—a remake of Super Troll Islands for the Amiga, but with Mr. Blobby slapped on top for some reason. You know, that pink-and-yellow nightmare from 90s British TV? Yeah, he doesn’t even do his signature crushing or shouting here. Just… exists.
Gameplay’s simple but oddly satisfying: you hop around 60 levels, coloring in the floor by walking over it like some kind of deranged human paintbrush. There are power-ups, spikes, springs—the usual platformer stuff—but the real trick is swapping between Mr. Blobby, Mrs. Blobby, and Baby Blobby whenever you want. Lose all three, though, and it’s game over.
Enemies are basically clones with predictable patterns, so once you figure them out, it’s more about patience than skill. Not gonna lie, the whole thing feels like someone took a decent game and glued a meme onto it, but hey, it works. Just don’t expect Blobby’s chaotic energy to actually show up.
