Murders in Venice is one of those old-school Amiga adventures where you actually feel like a detective—if a slightly stressed one. You’ve got five real-time hours to stop terrorists from blowing up the city, and the clock doesn’t stop just because you’re stuck. Clicking arrows moves you around, but the real trick is paying attention to everything: scribbling notes in your organizer, sketching weird details, and snapping photos of suspicious people (who absolutely do not appreciate it).

What makes it tense is the waiting—sometimes you’ll stake out a canal for what feels like forever, hoping some shady character shows up at the right moment. Miss your window, and well… good luck explaining that to Venice. It’s clunky in that classic ‘90s way, but there’s something weirdly satisfying about piecing together clues while the clock ticks down.
