Play Naruto : Konoha Senki Online
Command Team 7 on grid-based maps, flanking enemies with jutsu and clones—feels like tactical ninja chess with Naruto’s signature chaos mixed in.

Naruto: Konoha Senki came out for the Game Boy Advance in 2003, developed by Tomy. It was one of those early portable Naruto games that tried to capture the feel of the series before the flood of arena fighters took over. You got to move your team on a grid, almost like a proper tactical RPG, which felt pretty fresh at the time for a handheld licensed title.
You control Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura across a series of grid-based battle maps, issuing commands to each one individually. The main goal is to defeat all enemy units or complete specific mission objectives, like protecting an ally or reaching a certain tile. Signature mechanics include using each character’s unique jutsu—like Naruto’s shadow clones or Sasuke’s fireball—to attack from a distance or set up flanking positions, and managing chakra points so you don’t run out of special moves at a bad time. The pacing is deliberate; you really have to think a turn or two ahead, especially since enemies hit hard if you leave someone exposed. It feels like a mix of methodical planning and satisfying payoff when a combo comes together just right.
