Okay, so Normy's Beach Babe-O-Rama is exactly what it sounds like—a ridiculous, over-the-top Sega Genesis game where you play as this dude Normy who slathers on magic suntan lotion to time-travel and rescue women in bikinis. Yeah, it’s as weird as it is hilarious.
You jump between ancient Egypt, medieval castles, and pirate ships, dodging enemies while trying to grab the girls before time runs out. The controls are a little slippery, but once you get used to it, there’s something weirdly satisfying about bouncing on mummies or outrunning knights in armor. Also, the music is oddly catchy for how goofy the whole thing is.
It’s not deep, but if you’re in the mood for something completely unapologetic about its absurd premise, this one’s a trip. Just don’t take it seriously.
