If you've ever wanted to experience the absolute chaos of a One Piece adventure without the usual fighting or RPG grind, this weird little GBA board game is your ticket. You roll dice, move around a map, and basically try to out-shenanigan your opponents—which feels pretty on-brand for Luffy and the crew.

The first time I played, I got hit with a random event that swapped my position with an enemy, then immediately lost half my Berries to a seagull. Classic One Piece nonsense. There’s something about the way it captures the series’ energy—you might be stealing treasure one minute, then getting yeeted across the board by a surprise whirlpool the next.

It’s not deep, but it’s stupid fun in short bursts, especially if you’ve got a soft spot for early 2000s handheld games. Just don’t expect a masterpiece—expect to laugh at how unfairly ridiculous it gets. The pirate life never felt so random.
