Onslaught came out for the Sega Genesis in 1991, published by Taito. It was one of those games that felt right at home on the system, a time when action RPGs were still carving out their identity. The pacing is deliberate, almost tense, because the difficulty is relentless and mistakes are costly. It feels like a constant, grim struggle for survival where every bit of progress is earned.
