Oshare Wanko is a Japan only Game Boy Advance title from 2003, developed by MTO. It arrived late in the GBA's life, a period when the library was full of experimental and quirky titles that often never left Japan. This one fits right in, a strange little fashion simulator built around dressing up dogs.
You control a stylus like cursor to browse menus and select clothing items for your canine companion. The main objective is to assemble a complete, themed outfit from a closet full of shirts, pants, hats, and accessories. Two key mechanics involve mixing and matching these items for visual cohesion, and then judging your creation in a runway show where the dog models your picks. The pacing is deliberately slow and focused on creativity rather than challenge. It feels like playing with digital paper dolls, but with a very enthusiastic, tail wagging model.
