Play Ougon no Taiyo (J)(Eurasia) Online
You play as Isaac, solving tricky puzzles with psychic powers between turn-based fights where summoning dragons never gets old. The sprite work and music make this GBA RPG feel way bigger than it should.

Game Overview
Ougon no Taiyo (Golden Sun in the West) is one of those GBA RPGs that still holds up. You start off as this kid, Isaac, in a quiet little village—until everything goes sideways and you’re suddenly wrapped up in this quest to stop alchemy from being unleashed. Sounds simple, but the world of Weyard is packed with weird little puzzles, hidden Djinn creatures, and some surprisingly deep turn-based combat.
What really stuck with me was the vibe—it’s got that classic JRPG feel but with these gorgeous (for the GBA) sprite animations and a soundtrack that goes way harder than it needs to. The first time you summon a giant dragon in battle, it’s pure hype. Just don’t expect to breeze through—some of those dungeon puzzles will make you stop and actually think for a minute.
If you’ve got a soft spot for old-school RPGs with a bit of meat to them, this one’s a gem.
