Game Overview
Oxxonian is this weirdly charming Amiga puzzle-shooter where you’re up against Zargo, a villain with terrible taste in weapons (a Transnuclear Hypernipple, really?). He’s flooding your world with interdimensional nasties who’ve somehow ruined popcorn gâteaux—which, if you ask me, is the real crime here.
You’re scrambling through mazes, shoving boxes Sokoban-style to unlock weapons, cash, or snacks (because yes, your energy drains nonstop). The catch? Boxes only pop open if you line up three of the same type. Half the time I’d panic-shove crates while some monster nipped at my heels, only to realize I’d trapped myself. Classic.
It’s frantic, a little janky, and oddly specific about its food-based apocalypse. But that’s part of the charm.
