Game Overview
Paramax throws you into this weird virtual world where you’re basically sprinting for your life. It’s one of those classic side-scrollers where you’re moving left to right, blasting enemies with a laser gun (which feels way more satisfying than it should) and trying not to faceplant into bottomless pits. Oh, and the clock’s always ticking—some levels give you barely enough time to think.
You’ll stumble on random power-ups like springy shoes for ridiculous jumps or these screen-clearing bombs when things get too crowded. The first time I grabbed the jump boost, I overshot a platform completely. Classic. It’s got that old-school Amiga charm where everything’s just slightly harder than you’d like, but you keep going anyway.
