Play Paris Dakar Online
1988 racing game for Amiga. Manage vehicle condition, fuel, and repairs across three stages: Europe, Sahara, and Tenere desert. Features dynamic resource management and terrain challenges.

Game Overview
Paris-Dakar is one of those old-school Amiga games that makes you feel like you're actually managing a rally team—if rally teams had to constantly worry about their car falling apart in the middle of nowhere. You start with barely any cash, and every decision matters: do you spend your last coins on gas now, or risk pushing further hoping for a cheaper refuel stop? Spoiler: the desert doesn’t care about your budget.
The race kicks off in Europe, where things feel almost civilized, but then you hit the Sahara and suddenly everything’s trying to kill your car. Sand, heat, mechanical failures—you’re constantly checking gauges for water levels, engine damage, and that ever-dwindling fuel tank. The map’s always there, taunting you with how far you still have to go.
And those supply boats and tankers? They know you’re desperate, so they charge whatever they want. The better you race, the more sponsors throw money at you, but early on, it’s just you, your rusty skills, and a prayer that the gearbox holds up until Dakar. It’s punishing, but in that weirdly satisfying way where every small victory feels huge.
