Play Pinobee & Phoebee Online
Switch between a hovering bee bot and a fiery little spark to melt ice, float over gaps, and figure out who’s best for each puzzle—it’s got that cozy GBA charm with just the right amount of brain work.

Pinobee & Phoebee came out on the Game Boy Advance in 2002, developed by Artoon. It was part of that wave of early GBA platformers that felt experimental, trying new things with the hardware without the budget or bombast of a flagship Nintendo title. You play as two characters: Pinobee, a robotic bee who can hover for a short time, and Phoebee, a fiery spark companion. Their quest is to find the Queen Bee, who has been captured, requiring them to journey through a variety of themed worlds.
You control both characters, often switching between them on the fly to solve environmental puzzles. Pinobee's hover lets you cross wider gaps, while Phoebee can melt ice blocks and ignite certain objects to clear your path. The game is structured screen by screen, with an emphasis on exploration and light puzzle solving over intense combat. The pacing is deliberate, asking you to stop and think about which character's ability fits the obstacle ahead. It feels like a quiet, thoughtful adventure, a game more about using your tools carefully than rushing to the finish.
