Police Quest II: The Vengeance is one of those classic Sierra point-and-click adventures that makes you feel like a real detective—if you can handle the old-school difficulty. You play as Sonny Bonds again, this time hunting down a drug lord after a brutal attack on your partner. The Amiga version has that nostalgic pixel art and keyboard-heavy controls, so expect to type commands like "open door" or "examine body" a lot.
First thing you’ll notice? The interrogation scenes actually require you to ask the right questions—no hand-holding here. Mess up, and the case stalls. And driving the patrol car? Surprisingly detailed for a game from '88, complete with traffic laws you’ve gotta follow (yes, you can get pulled over for speeding). Just don’t forget to put on your seatbelt before hitting the siren.
It’s unforgiving by today’s standards, but there’s something satisfying about cracking a case without hints or auto-saves. The disk-swapping is a pain, though.
