Remember those tiny Polly Pocket playsets? This GBA game feels like one of them came to life—except now you're racing water scooters, hunting for hidden shells, and bouncing between mini-games on these little tropical islands. The colors pop even on the small screen, and everything moves at this bouncy, kid-friendly pace where you're never stuck doing one thing for too long.

I thought it'd just be shallow mini-game filler, but there's actually a light adventure mode where you unlock new areas by helping Polly's friends with silly tasks (one involves hermit crabs, another has you dodging rogue beach balls). The controls are simple—mostly just running and jumping—but some of the later water races get surprisingly frantic when you're trying to nail those shortcuts.

It's definitely aimed at younger players, but there's a weirdly satisfying loop to collecting all the outfit pieces and island decorations. My niece stole my copy after five minutes and refused to give it back, which probably says more than any review could.
