Poltergeist_Disk4 is one of those weird, late-era Amiga games that feels like it was made by someone who stayed up way too late watching horror movies. You control this little ghost dude who can possess objects—lamps, chairs, whatever—to scare the living daylights out of the people in the house. The pixel art has that crunchy Amiga charm, and the sound effects are just the right amount of ridiculous (imagine a vacuum cleaner suddenly screaming at you).
It’s not exactly polished—some of the controls are janky, and the AI occasionally forgets to be scared—but that almost adds to the vibe. Like, of course a haunted chair would glitch through a wall sometimes. If you’re into obscure retro games with personality, this one’s a fun little time capsule.
