Play Power Instinct 2 (US, Ver. 94/04/08) Online
Pick a weirdo—maybe the diaper sumo or umbrella granny—and throw down in this gloriously janky '90s fighter where demons pop up mid-match and nothing makes sense. Button-mash chaos with surprising depth if you care to look.

Game Overview
Power Instinct 2 is one of those weird, wonderful arcade fighters from the mid-90s that never took itself too seriously. You’ve got a roster full of oddballs—grandmas who fight with umbrellas, sumo wrestlers in diapers, and a guy who looks suspiciously like a rejected Street Fighter boss. The moves are over-the-top, the announcer yells nonsense, and every match feels like a chaotic cartoon brawl.
What I love is how unpredictable it feels—one second you’re landing a combo, the next your opponent turns into a giant demon mid-fight. The controls are simple enough to mash buttons and have fun, but there’s some real depth if you dig into the timing and counters. Just don’t expect anything balanced—half the fun is seeing which ridiculous character breaks the game this time.
If you’re into retro fighters with personality (and a healthy dose of Japanese weirdness), this one’s a blast. The MAME version runs smooth, though good luck finding a cabinet in the wild these days.
