Play Powerball Online
Pick a team, then sprint downfield dodging tackles—either ram through for 3 points or nail a risky kick for 1. The upgrades turn your squad into absolute monsters by season’s end.

Powerball came out for the Sega Genesis in 1991, developed by Namco. It was one of those early 16-bit sports hybrids that didn't really fit into a neat category, a mix of rugby and futuristic armor that felt right at home among the platform's experimental titles.
You control a team of armored players on a field, trying to carry the ball into the opposing team's goal zone. The main objective is to outscore your opponent, either by running it in for three points or kicking it through the uprights for one. Signature mechanics include tackling opponents to force a fumble and executing laterals to keep the play alive under pressure. The pacing is frantic, almost chaotic, with a difficulty that spikes sharply against the computer. It feels like managing controlled chaos, where a single mistake can completely turn the tide of a match.
