Play Powerstyx Online
Action-puzzle game where players control a dot to carve out hidden images by drawing closed shapes while avoiding enemies. Features 15 levels, power-ups, and requires uncovering 75% of the screen to advance. Released in 1988 for Amiga.
Powerstyx came out on the Amiga in 1988 from Axxiom. It was one of those games that felt right at home on the platform, a straightforward action-puzzle title that didn't try to overcomplicate things. You just picked it up and started playing.
You control a small dot, moving it around the screen to draw lines and form closed shapes, which then fill in to reveal a hidden picture. The main goal is to uncover at least 75% of the screen to advance to the next of the fifteen levels, all while avoiding enemy dots that try to break your lines. You can collect power-ups for temporary speed or protection, but the pacing stays tense as you carve out shapes under pressure. It feels like a race against chaos, a simple concept that demands quick thinking and careful movement.
