Game Overview

ProFlight is one of those sims where you either nerd out hard or walk away immediately—no in-between. It throws you into the cockpit of a Tornado F Mk3 with a manual thicker than some textbooks, and yeah, you’ll actually need it. The first time I booted it up, I spent 20 minutes just figuring out how to start the engines without crashing on the runway.

But once you get past the initial "what does this button do?" phase, it’s weirdly satisfying. The flight model doesn’t cut corners—every tiny adjustment to the tailerons or rudder actually matters, and hitting Mach 2 feels like wrestling a metal beast. Missiles lock on with this sharp electronic whine that still makes me tense up, and the terrain accuracy is obsessive (like, "why do I need my position down to 0.00001ft?" obsessive).

It’s not for casual flybys, but if you’ve ever wanted to geek out over cold war-era jet physics, this is basically a flight engineer simulator disguised as a game. Just don’t expect to survive your first dogfight.
