Project-X on the Amiga is one of those shoot-'em-ups that feels like it’s trying to throw everything at you at once—in a good way. The first level alone has you weaving through neon bullets while aliens swarm in from all sides. It’s chaotic, but in that classic Amiga way where the colors pop and the soundtrack just slaps.

I remember loading this from floppy (Disk 1, naturally) and immediately getting wrecked by the second wave of enemies. Took a few tries to figure out the weapon upgrades—some are way more useful than others, and the spread shot is basically mandatory if you want to survive past level 3. The bosses are chunky pixel beasts that fill half the screen, and dodging their attacks feels like threading a needle.

If you’ve got an Amiga or an emulator handy, it’s still a blast to play, even if the difficulty hasn’t aged gracefully. Just don’t blame me when you’re stuck on that one brutal mid-game level for hours.
