I remember picking up Projectyle for the Amiga back in 1990, published by Electronic Arts. It was one of those games that felt right at home on the platform, blending action and sports in a way that was pretty common for the era, but with its own distinct flavor. You didn't see many games trying to merge futuristic concepts with team sports back then, at least not like this.

You control a team of players in a fast, futuristic version of hockey, moving screen by screen through five interconnected arena zones. The main goal is to outscore your opponent, either against the computer or with friends in multiplayer. Key mechanics include picking up power-ups for temporary advantages, managing your players' stamina to avoid exhaustion, and handling team lineups for longer league play. The pacing is relentless; you're constantly chasing the puck, dodging tackles, and trying to set up shots. It feels chaotic but strategic, demanding quick reflexes and a bit of foresight to keep your team in the game.
