Game Overview

Protector on the Amiga is one of those games that looks simple at first—just a little spaceship at the bottom of the screen, blasting away at waves of descending enemies. But after a few minutes, you realize how tight the controls are, and how satisfying it feels when you finally nail that perfect shot between two fast-moving targets.

The pixel art has that classic Amiga charm, with chunky, colorful sprites and smooth scrolling. The soundtrack’s got this pulsing synth beat that somehow makes dodging bullets feel cooler than it should. I remember getting wrecked by the third level at first, but once you figure out the enemy patterns, it’s weirdly addictive.

It’s not the deepest shooter out there, but it’s got that old-school arcade vibe where you just want one more try to beat your high score.
