Quest for the Time-Bird on the Amiga is one of those weird, charming point-and-click adventures that feels like it fell out of a French comic book—because, well, it kinda did. You play as Bragon, this burly warrior type, chasing after a mythical bird that can rewind time. The art’s all hand-drawn and moody, with these thick ink lines that make everything look like a panel straight out of a graphic novel.
At first, the puzzles are straightforward—click on stuff, combine items in your inventory, try not to get eaten by random creatures—but then it starts throwing curveballs. Like, at one point you’ve gotta figure out how to distract a sleeping dragon without waking it, and let’s just say brute force doesn’t work. The dialogue’s quirky, the world feels alive in that slightly janky Amiga way, and yeah, you’ll probably get stuck at least once. But that’s half the fun.
If you’re into old-school adventures with personality, this one’s a hidden gem. Just don’t expect hand-holding.
