Game Overview
Race Days is one of those Game Boy cartridges that gives you two totally different racing vibes for the price of one. First up, Dirty Racing—it’s like Micro Machines but with a bit more attitude. You’re zipping around tiny tracks from an overhead view, dodging obstacles and occasionally nudging rivals off the road. Feels chaotic in the best way.
Then there’s 4 Wheel Drive, which throws you behind the wheel for some off-road madness. Hills, sharp turns, and those little arrows at the top of the screen warning you about upcoming curves (which you’ll probably ignore and crash anyway). It’s got that rough-and-tumble feel, like your truck’s barely holding together.
Best part? Grab a buddy and a GameLink cable, and suddenly it’s a competition to see who’s the bigger disaster on wheels. Just don’t blame me when the friendship gets a little bumpy.
